DMVU & Toadface have joined forces to forge a collaborative EP of 140 and experimental dub sounds, entitled “It’s Dangerous To Go Alone” that will be released in tandem with their co-headlining US tour this fall.

The new collaborative EP bounces back-and-forth between the two artists' complementary styles. Sonically and stylistically something that makes this audio journey so special is the different things that each artist brings to the table. Each artist is equipped with different tools to take on what lies ahead and through their shared creative endeavors they're able to explore new and uncharted territories.

Recording and production for the album started separately and then Todd stayed at DMVU’s home studio in Denver for a few days earlier this year to complete the project in person. The two artists were both exploring a lot of stories based in fantasy, magic and lore, and that influence definitely rubbed off on the music as well as the visual aesthetic of the release.

Mastering duties for this album were handled by Bob Macc. He has mastered many releases for both DMVU and Toadface. Macc put a huge amount of work into this EP, considering how vast it is from a sound standpoint.

The lead single “Uncut Diamonds” is set to release on September 28th, with the full EP tracklist slated for October 12th.
