DMVU & Finnoh have made a collaborative work entitled ‘Where Did I Go’, the 6-track EP traverses several sonic moods and styles but is tied together with DMVU’s nimble production supporting lyrics written by Finnoh. About half of the record was produced and recorded remotely, while a few select tracks were recorded live with Finnoh at DMVU’s home studio in Colorado. The songs on this project span across collaborations from several from different eras of the artists’ friendship. Sonically it is an evolution and elevation of both of their styles since their last full project collaboration 'Green Tape'. It is a window into the artists’ present and a door to their potential future.

The lead single ‘The Murky’ was the first song that DMVU & Finnoh recorded together in the studio. Conceptually, this project is contemplating the infinite nature of time. It represents how everything can change in an instant, but simultaneously life can feel as if it moves slowly when time feels immovable and constant. In a way, the title ‘Where Did I Go’ also references that phenomenon. No one is the person they were yesterday and they won’t be the same tomorrow; thusly being aware and present in the moment holds so many rare gifts and can take us to places we never imagined we could discover.

DMVU is a Denver based electronic music producer and composer, while rapper and fellow artist Finnoh was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and currency resides in Minnesota.
